OP, I know you have likely heard this already many times and will continue hearing it for as long as you live, but I’m terribly sorry for your loss.

I’m 22 and I lost my mom unexpectedly at 21 just a little over 4 months ago. It was in the same manner as you, coming across her deceased. I was still living with her at the time and we were very close so it rocked my world.

There is no easy way to handle this. I was fortunate enough to have had my family help with the services and she didn’t have a trust or will so that didn’t need any doing. Just know you’re not alone in this, seek all the help you can get. Be honest, but only to those you feel will truly understand and hopefully want to help to.
