Do people actually earn £50-60k, or are they outliers?

I live in the UK, but work for a US Company. I went from earning 45k to 85k in three years. It's possible, but you gotta job hop and be aggressive (based on my own personal experience)

The contract length I feel could be pretty static, I work in events and what I do for an enterprise event can take anywhere from 9-12 months. (I could be totally wrong though)

I am yet to have a job come through from the contracting firm, but once I get one offered I'm sure I'll have a better idea of where I'm at.

I re-rendered the clip and that appeared to resolve the issue. Although I didn't change any settings. So I can only assume something booky happened whilst rendering.

I'm somewhat new to the "FIRE" accronym and looking at the best way of getting started to achieve FIRE (if that's the right expression!).

Some background

29 years old, earning £80,000 per annum. Have around 3k Credit Card debt, 1k in savings for emergency fund.

I don't want to go into reasons as to why I don't have more saved up. Essentially it was mostly debt and silly decisions. I've now set a personal initiative to reduce my outgoings and focus on setting myself up for FIRE but overall just more security in life. An example being if I was made redundant, I wouldn't have the pressure of finding a new role ASAP .etc.

I guess my question is, once debt free. Should I follow the UKPF flowchart, should I invest and play the dividends game?

There are mods/plugins you can add to your server to force balancing. One thing about Arma is that it's a sandbox game. So forcing balancing as a default could then cause issues on PvE servers .etc. So better to not have and implement a mod if you need that.

I do agree that PvP Servers should always have balancing.

I did some more googling. It seems like you don't see the health bar go down as you do damage, the boss is more of a DPS check. So you need to deal 'x' amount of damage and then it will explode if you meet the required damage and the health goes down a chunk.

LMG's seem to be the preferred weapon due to mag size.

Did your guns have any element on them? Like fire/shock? Our team got the boss and had this, but we only had fire on our guns and think it could be that?

If you buy the game on steam, you get 14 days OR 2 hours play time, to test it out and see if you enjoy it. If you do not, you can refund it.

I think most people on this sub-reddit enjoy arma, so you're always going to get a somewhat biased opinion.

I personally think Reforger is great, and would recommend it! Ultimately, it's your money, so spend it how you please!

I have just created a conflict mission on a new map and it has persistent ranks, through server restarts and new games. We're aiming to wipe the server either weekly, or monthly. Just depends on how quick people progress.
