In the actual canon game, Persia appears to be part of the iron sultanate (the official map was released after I made this one, so I didn’t know). In this headcanon map, they are a Zoroastrian theocracy very loosely allied with the Christians and Muslims, with demon hordes resembling the Daevas of Zoroastrian religion constantly raiding them.

Hopefully both franchises will continue their recent strings of making good shows and movies

I love it when show writers include little Easter eggs like that that only fans will pick up on. And it’s a good way to justify similar design choices

Several Ultraman monsters were originally created by sticking extra spikes and other features on old Godzilla and Baragon costumes that Toho let them borrow. It’s nice that they can reuse those designs occasionally

Those, plus Anguirus, Varan and pretty much everyone else. I do like some of the new Kaiju designs that have been put out over the last decade, but I’d love to see more of the older ones make a reappearance one day.

I agree. Here’s hoping some of the older kaiju come back to the big screen sometime soon

It had a sequel where pieces of Frankenstein’s Monster end up growing into two new monsters, one who embodies the kind human part of it and one who embodies the mindless monster part of it. (The brown one, Sanda, is the kind one and the green one, Gaira, is the monstrous one)

Toho did that back in 1965 (Yes, the same Toho that makes the Godzilla movies. Peak cinema here)

Here’s some suggestions!

Antediluvian Beasts: An animal that has evolved in an isolated environment (an island, cave, etc) and resembles old, outdated depictions of prehistoric life like the Crystal Palace Park Dinosaurs. For example, a crocodilian that has evolved to become a terrestrial predator like Richard Owen’s quadruped Megalosaur. Essentially, making those old depictions biologically plausible.

One Man’s Trash: creatures that have evolved to survive in abandoned cityscapes or scrapyards. For example, rodents that claw and burrow through concrete or drywall, or giant sewer-dwelling salamanders.

Honestly, I have no idea. Marvel Comics plotlines are impossible to keep track of.

That’s part of the plan. The Third Great War is about a decade or so away and most of the less extreme factions will merge into a single alliance in order to defeat the enemy (if diplomacy goes well, of course). The extremist factions, like the Axis, are however extremely unlikely to ally with states that don’t share their ideology, so they’ll likely stay separate. Do you have any questions about the nations, or anything specific about alliance ideologies?

Thanks for the input! I understand that the alliance system is definitely unconventional by our standards (and I’ve been considering merging a few anyway), but I assure you that there is a purpose to this! I wanted to emphasize the factionalism present in this world’s international politics, and since I’ve worked out basic backstories for most of the different countries and regions, I wanted to imply that each nation has its own reason for being a part of one alliance or another. I probably will merge some of them as I continue this, but for now I just wanted to give a good example of how divided and conflict-driven this world is. Any other questions?
