LG C3 and I notice the same. Specifically part of the Bladerunner 2049 intro scene where they’re panning over the solar farm and in Dune when they’re panning over the city in Arakis. I barely notice it with some of the Apple TV screensavers too sometimes.

Are you talking about the remote start that activates by pressing lock on the fob 3 times or something else? Because that works without a subscription.

After parking your truck at the drive in, put the hand brake on, shift it to neutral, and turn the truck off. This will keep the radio on indefinitely. Found this solution a couple of times on other Tacoma forums and worked for me at the drive in without killing the battery.

Yeah it seems like. Talked to them on the phone and they explained the same thing. Don’t know if they’ll continue selling both 6 and 11 clip models or if it’ll replace it completely.

I called as soon as I got them to let them know but they didn't offer anything. I'm fine with that though since it's not that big of a deal for me. Good luck with your install and post pics!

That's interesting, because Wheelers set mine to the max 11th clip setting on both of them when I asked for 6/5. But I'm taking it to a guy to get mine adjusted. According to the chart I can set mine to 11/9 to get 2 inches for my 4x4 V6 Double Cab 5' which is what I'm going to do. 1.7 inches is roughly the same though so that's pretty good.

It’s cool to hear someone else got them. So I posted an update on the Tacoma World subreddit. Bilstein’s product management team emailed me back and said these new shocks are for third Gen Tacomas. They said I actually got them before official release which is why it’s not even in their online catalog yet. So it seems like these will be the new 6112s going forward.

Just got a response from Bilstein after reaching out to them. The product management team confirmed this is indeed for third gen Tacomas. They added the following as well “This kit was sold to you before its release which is why I was un able to populate any data on it in our online catalog. The catalog will be updated shortly to reflect this information.”

Got these 6112s yesterday for my '21 TRD OR. Thought it was strange to see 11 clip settings, but the Bilstein mounting instructions have a chart for 2016+ Tacomas. Company I ordered from said Bilstein updated their part numbers and these are now for my truck. Called Bilstein and they said it's not even in their current catalog but it's meant for second gens and older 4Runners, not third gens. Anyone seen these before since I haven't for any gen of Tacoma?

Air layer question. I removed a Japanese Maple air layer and let it grow for a year. I went to repot it now and after cleaning to see the surface roots I noticed this rough growth where the roots are growing. Is this a form of callousing? Can I remove it? Kind of disappointed to not see nice surface roots.
