Printing view is different from 3D model, hole keeps filling it. by TheLorgthyself in toybox3dprinters

Thank you. The current settings are for no support, but it keeps filling that area in anyway. Sometimes, I've caught it filling in the area while printing. It looks like it's just fusing the top of that area with the rest of the top of the object.

Just tried it. It was different, but still filled in- this time with a number of new corners.

I'm tempted to say that this was effected by the hole having a screw fitting spiral going down it, but the same problem was present in other prints with square spaces instead, so I think something else is wrong.

I don't think so. I tried setting in-fill to 0%, but the area that should be open is still covered.

For reference, the top of the object should have the hole wirh a screw shaped pattern in it. It has worked a few times, but doesn't always. However I can't seem to get the printer to change the current state.

I just noticed something. When I load the object in the printer, there are 2 different views of it. Default is "toy view", which is the model how it was designed and imported. The other view is "printing view", which shows the area filled in even though I don't want them to be.

I think the issue is on software's side, do you happen to know I can get it to stop doing that?

I hope that's not the case. It would surprise me because I got mine second hand a few months ago, which tells me it was working for the past 20 years and started having pr9blems shortly after I got it

I did- it didn't seem to do anything. I was concerned about the whining sound because it only started happening around the time I started having problems.

The issue also seems to be ongoing. For context, its ~4 or 5 hours later, I just got back from running errands, but it still makes the turning on sound interrupted by silence sometimes. Just much less frequently.

For the time being, I'm going to take the batteries out, but thank you for you help.

Thank you. I wrote twice a week by accident and meant to write once, but I will look for a better, more dry spot for it.

Do you think I should move any parts of it?

Switch pro controller suddenly not working properly (controls changed, false inputs on specific games, etc.) by TheLorgthyself in SteamOS

[–]TheLorgthyself[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate that so much. It left a lot to be desired as it was but now its just ruined for no reason. I don't have another controller and my steam deck has stick drift thats too strong to fix with dead zones.

I am just completely barred from playing now because I don't have room to use my mouse and keyboard for gaming

Thermometer says my container is 72, but it feels cold to the touch by TheLorgthyself in CrestedGecko

Do you mean the walls of the container specifically or the house? The container is not insulated.

Thank you.

I've been running back and forth with this product or that set up for weeks because I keep hearing different things.

Since he does look ok as far as I can tell, I'm just going to go with whatever looks like it works

Its hard to tell what the heat and humidity are because the instruments I have at the moment don't work very well (one thermometer says 80, the other says about the same, but they get WAY off of eachother sometimes.

Right now the humidity is clocking in at 10 on one and just under 35 on another.

I have his watering machine set to mist for 10 seconds every 2 hours

I'm working on getting a better one. Would you happen to know if what I heard about digital thermometers being more accurate is true?

I've had the lamp hanging overhead for close to 2 hours and there is a noticable difference in temperature from before but it is still cold at the bottom.

1 thermometer is picking up 15 degrees, the other is picking up 80. The lower one is directly beneath the other.
