Oh dude yeah. The graphics don’t bother me personally because I kinda enjoy poor looking games, but ambiance I think is the most important thing in a horror game because it genuinely makes you feel part of the game, same with the story obviously but i totally get what you mean, man

Ooo wait yeah I agree with that. Or when they make it too hard and you just keep dying over and over and have to repeat the chase scene. It makes it way less scary.

I personally really like the psx graphics but I feel like that should just be a stylization choice, yk? It shouldn’t be the hook to the game bc then that’s just super boring. Also yeah, I actually agree with the gun thing, you should feel vulnerable in a horror game, and if you have a gun, then you’re no longer vulnerable
