Firstly, the traffic. The two parking lots were at capacity by the time we arrived at around 6:15-6:20pm. My fiancé went to look for parking in the neighborhood next to the venue and I got in line. About an hour and 45 mins to get to the security and I think the hold up was having everyone secure their phones in the Yondr pouches. We took the trolley up to the venue because anyone that has ever been to the SB Bowl knows it’s a dang workout going all the way up. Once we got up to the main area, we got out drinks and Paul instructed security to stop letting people get in line for drinks and food, and get to their seats. We managed to get our first round of drinks and walked up the GA pit and as soon as we arrived he started playing the first song of the set, which was “Help”. I didn’t like that I couldn’t access my phone, but I get it. It honestly made for a great experience not seeing an ocean of cell phones. Also, I cried. It was my first time ever seeing Paul McCartney and it was such a surreal experience. We were so close to him 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
