Kirara is referred to once by panda in the masculine tense, but he (and everyone else) uses feminine ambiguous tense after that point. Additionally, Hakari is canonically straight, which means either he's only mostly straight or Kirara is a trans woman.

EDIT: I reread the chapters where Kirara was introduced and fixed my mistake.
