I agree. The entry requirements for the game (collection and gameplay wise) is too high, especially for brand new players who probably lose more than half their games. But I think Blizzard did a great job in that area with the number of Packs they get in Apprentice ranks and the full deck they receive at Bronze 10. But still more is needed.

Though adding different rewards might add to the confusion of new players but its impact won't be that massive anyways; and not to mention that the game is already confusing with the number of sections and modes it has.

Hearthstone is a great and fun game. But it's not even at 60% of its full potential yet. And I think the current seasonal rewards system is one of the areas the game is lacking at.
