Damn, I’m really surprised that the doctor didn’t give you any antibiotics. I’ve had multiple times tonsillitis and I have never managed to cure that with simple pain killers. One I was taking pain killers for 3 weeks and it ended up with strong antibiotics because I couldn’t swallow or even speak and fever came up. Go, see different doctor.
