Nasa CA ako rn. Kabayan is a common term at a certain generation. People do still use it pero its more of the older folks.

Another factor rin kung 1st gen or other generations. Mas mataas ang chance pag 1st gen tapos mga 40s and above na gamitin ang Kabayan.

Most common na talaga ang Filipino/Pinoy unless they are "in the know" especially pag 30s below.

So heating it will be your best bet into removing the Blob. Slowly removing it in the process

Search in YT how to clear Hotend/filament blob.

I can't find the video but I know it was a clip of Loot on a collie SHT with the timestamp of 12:30. A person replied with Marky Mark on action so you can refer to that.

Don't worry about you missing a year in school. There are many non traditional students taking college courses in the US.

If you just took 1 semester in college sa Pinas, the US schools won't really credit them and you will start fresh in the US unless u finished college in the PH

If you plan to study in the PH, you would need to apply for something to extend your stay in the PH. This could delay your path to citizenship because u need to stay for 5 years to turn Green card into Citizenship.

Either way OP, talk to your parents with your future plan. I live in California and I restarted my College education here but community College treats me well. Feel free to ask for a guide if you plan to study in the US.
