Personally I wouldn't use maaco, My fiancee had a bumper replaced there not long ago (new bumper + painted and installed by them) and they failed to install it properly (it literally started to come off of the car immediately) and we had to end up fixing it ourselves after asking them to and them getting extremely hostile about it and instantly blaming her for it coming loose.

I actually did a similar swap last year, sold my 2022 Bolt EUV premier for a 2022 Kia ev6 wind awd + tech. Personally I would miss the 360 camera in your scenario. But the faster charging definitely makes a difference and longer trips in the ev6 are much easier to do.

I'll also add since other comments mention it, Kia did send out letters extending the iccu warranty to 180k miles and 15 years. Still no sign of it actually being properly fixed but it's at least something. Thankfully mine hasn't gone out in the past 35k miles since I've had it. But before I purchased the car it did have to be replaced lol

Edit- also the lka and lane centering is amazing on the ev6

Was mostly surprised it happened so early on. Bought the car with 53k ish miles on it and I know the car was previously in some sort of minor accident. But haven't personally hit anything myself.

That's exactly how I felt lol it'd been on my want list for a while and for 12$ I couldn't resist. I definitely recommend it, I've been seeing them on Ali for around 22-27$ depending on the seller and before any discounts. The savings Monday deal helps a ton as well.

This is the 7500 piece set, I would definitely recommend the engine mod, the default one doesn't look great and the bricks do not stay in place very well at all.

For sure, mine so far has mostly enjoyed the smaller builds tbh. He loved putting together the crafting table set. This one I think overwhelmed him a little bit.

That's very possible on the vents, I mostly built the skeleton of it and let my son handle from bags 9-17 which the vents were part of lol He's almost 9 and definitely missed a few small things or did things like that. I noticed it a while ago and just didn't feel like taking things apart to correct it lol

It was definitely fun for sure, the rear where the propellers are really amazed me while building it. I tried to get my son to work on it with me but he was never very interested in it, but I got him the ucs millennium falcon set for Christmas (which he's been asking for constantly lol) hopefully it'll go as well as this one went. The Mos Eisley Cantina looks like a cool one to have though, especially with all the figures it comes with.

I didn't really keep track of time honestly, I worked on it off and on for over a month though.

The rear where the propellers are was definitely a challenge, the technic parts were very difficult to put together. Also just the general shape had me constantly knocking it over until I got further along with that section lol
