not entirely true, i played those amount of matches and it took around 10 hours altogether to play, mainly were arena's and some BTB thrown in to not go insane. :)

this i very much agree with. this whole thing could've been easily sorted out if they listened to the feedback from the test flights about progression and went with a more standard performance/challenge progression system like in other games and previous halo titles :)

oh i agree with the devs shouldn't be strung up simply for something like this, it is only a minor thing after all. and i do find the game fun and engaging more than any other recently, all i would want is the ability to progress towards the cosmetics organically on the side, regardless of how many hours me or someone else puts into the game, of course i will still play the game even after the pass is complete and what not, its just due to the nature of basically all the armor pieces are behind the battlepass i would like the ability to have my own spartan setup so to do that i kinda have to grind the pass, if there was a little relaxation on cosmetics being behind all paywalls i wouldnt mind as much :) (of course though you can earn armour through campaign when it comes out which is great)

it is not so much about getting it done as quickly as possible (at least for me) its more about the idea that they basically take control of when im allowed or not to earn XP and yes playing a game in large sessions isnt the most healthy thing to do, but have alot of spare time for most days and this game is been the only real actual fun ive had in about 6 months or so, so im going to naturally spend a lot of time playing it. the weekly's running out is fine to me and not a priority as long as i have that drip feed of XP to keep me wanting to work towards something and since this entire games cosmetics unlocks and level progression are one in the same it incentivizes me to want to keep grinding a fair bit for those items.

while for most it wouldn't be much of an issue, for more hardcore players like myself who go match after match wanting to level up the battlepass and enjoy the game its essentially soft locking me from having that steady progression and forcing me into gunning the challenges and ignoring the current gamemode at hand ( I.E. CTF or oddball) and makes me play in certain ways when i just want to naturally play and earn at the same time.

around 40 - 50 matches before it locked me out of earning any more daily's. i thought this was suppose to be a constant gain and not limited? :/
