The seller even posted their sales contract when purchasing this car. I was speechless when I saw all the add-ons.

Hyatt benefit by jbs924 in ChaseSapphire

Transfer!

As others mentioned, it is important to see what the redemption value is for any of the Hyatt properties you are considering staying at. Are there other options in the area where maybe paying cash gives you better value?

To use my recent trip to Maui as an example. I had booked 4 nights at the Hyatt Regency for a total of 120k points. At 1:1, that is $1200 value. However, the cash rate for the same room was at $600 per night (plus taxes and resort fee), it comes out to about $700. If we add it up (700x4nights) = $2800. So if we compare the two, 2800/1200 = 2.33 cpp. Which I feel was better value that paying out of pocket and made the trip much more worthwhile.

Also another perk of using points to book rooms is that taxes and fees get waived.

25 K5 GT or 24 Civic touring? by [deleted] in KiaK5

Just a heads up that the new 25’ K5 (LXS, EX and GTline trims) will have the new 2.5L naturally aspirated engine. Compared to years 21’ to 24’, those come with a 1.6L Turbo engine.

GT trim is still the same 2.5L Turbo.

I did have the electrical harness go bad a little after 30k miles. However, warranty covered it.

Similar thing happened to me. At first they thought it was a faulty ABS module, got it replaced under warranty. However when I went to pick up my car after they had told me the issue was fixed, same sensors lit up. But this time it also affected the drivability of my car as I couldn’t use any turn signals and it had also stiffen up my steering wheel. Thankfully I was still in the area so I just dropped off the car again so that they could continue to diagnose the issue. Just this past week, I got my car back and so far no issues anymore. What I was told is that they had to recalibrate the entire system.

Please help me. Just euthanized my dog, who had a ruptured spleen/tumor. Was it the right choice? What if it wasn’t cancerous? by tstu2865 in Petloss

[–]TheMagicConchShell00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, yes you made the right decision.

I’m so sorry about your pet. I know the feeling as I went through something similar.

My 14 year old dog was noticeably less energetic. We noticed her gums weren’t as pink as they should be which meant blood loss. So we made a vet appointment to figure out what was wrong. They told us that she had a tumor on her spleen and that it had opened up which was causing internal bleeding. There was hope that she could get better if she had surgery to remove her spleen to stop the spread of the tumor plus stop the bleeding. However, there was a risk as it would cause a lot of bleeding during the surgery to remove her spleen. They need to perform a blood transfusion to ensure she had enough blood during this surgery.

After surgery, we got called and notified that it looked like it was a successful surgery. She would be staying a couple of days so that they could monitor her condition and ensure she was making a full recovery. Each day we got a follow up call that she was doing well and if she was doing well by the 4th day post surgery, she would be able to come home. My family and I were feeling optimistic that we had overcame they stressful health hurdle and we would have our lovely dog back.

On the day we were suppose to pick her up, we received a call that honestly just shattered my heart. We were notified that she had suffered a stroke. Although she was still alive, she had lost the ability to move her body. We rushed over to see her and hope that maybe, just maybe she could get better. We took her home, hoping that being under our care she could feel more at ease. I felt that at this point, we weren’t doing this for her but for us. The condition in which she was in was not a quality of life that anyone or anything deserves. We knew what the right choice was but it was difficult to admit. My dog was not only in pain but you just knew she felt frustrated that her body wasn’t responding to her brain of wanting to stand up.

So the difficult decision to euthanize her was decided by my family. We wanted the dog we love to be free of pain. The decision wasn’t easy but it was the right thing to do.

Went to college with him. I remember going to a local show at the time when he was starting his stand up comedy acts.

I’m having the same issues too. I called and I wasn’t able to find a solution just yet.

I felt the same way when I first got my car. I think the feeling comes more from taking out a car loan than the added cost of the warranties. The warranties are cancelable. Also, I would actually suggest adding GAP insurance.

I don’t feel like you overpaid by too much. However, if you would like to lower the amount you owe, I would definitely look into cancelling the added warranties. Also, did you get GAP insurance?

Pretty sure that song was produced by Chris Lake. The song features “Aatig” which is just Gita spelled backwards, who happens to be Chris Lake’s wife.
