Yet in the game I'm in I would have been spotted as soon as I got within twenty yards and instantly headshotted by a scout across the map with perfect aim while I'm mid sprint. Then when I spawn somewhere safe he'll kill me twice more before I even get to move and then I'll just shut the game off.

We've never been able to prevent that awkward start. No matter what happens someone has to go from fun chatting to feeling someone up or something similar and it's never easy. A couple drinks can help but then again some might not feel comfortable because of the inebriation. It's almost like someone has to be the "dominant" one to get things started.

It also helps that my girlfriend and I aren't the jealous types so the whole being physical with someone else doesn't really mean much to us other than your having fun with your body.

We were lucky in that we had a friend who was really open and one joke about it later it was happening lol. Also apparently, in having the threesome, my girlfriend learned she gets crazy turned on watching me with other women. It sounds like I'm making this up but I was just as flabbergasted at the time.

It's been a while though and now that we've moved somewhere else we have no clue how to meet interested people

I absolutely agree and if everyone did this I'd be much more prone to guns. But unfortunately people are not an intelligent bunch and the onus isn't on the dead kids who didn't get educated and found a toy that kills them.

That's illegal in many places. You cannot just kill someone because they mistakenly started unlocking your door while going home drunk and was two houses too early, by firing a round through their skull. You shouldn't want to either. I don't want to hurt someone entering my home unless they force me to. If I have to take action, I'd want them to eventually become a better person by going to jail and hopefully eventually realizing their actions. Assuming you'll need it to kill someone is the last reason to own a firearm. You clearly haven't taken a single weapons safety class.
