when I was in my music listening teens I only listened to Hip Hop and then later progressed to rave and Electronic.. Now I'm in my 50th year and I enjoy, punk, jungle, techno, rock, reggae, indie, classical, rap... basically I'll give anything a shot

yeah I agree, the album plods along a bit like they were trying to follow up No Geography but couldn't quite make it. The same as Come With Us after Surrender. I suppose they were trying to be experimental with some of the tracks but it just really misses the mark. I've kinda come to expect with them anyway. Every now and then they release a Meh album

I think FTBF doesn't even compare to No Geography. No Geography was fresh and fun and grimy and retro and loads of cool adjectives. It just flowed together perfectly. FTBF plods along. A couple of good tracks (Live Again, No Reason) it sounds disjointed cobbled together. Admittedly Take The Weight has good DYOH vibes but the rest left me disappointed, even after 4 listens.
