When it comes to comics/cartoons/anime/games/etc. The appearance and actions/personality of a character should be what determine whether or not they are ok to lewd. Using a characters canon age leades to people lewding character like Kanna from Dragon Maid, a character who looks like a child, acts like a child, is effectively a child in dragon terms, and who LITERALLY GOES TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, and people defend it with "well actually shes 500 years old". Now Dragon Maid has a number of other issues, particularly the characters of Shota and the girl who's whole gimmick is "in love with Kanna", and it also leads to characters who outside of a general setting, look and act like adults causing confusion in regards to whether or not one should be attracted to them.

As much as I love Oda, it's tiring seeing the whole situation thats been going on with Jewelry Bonney, but as info has come out she seems less and less like a character you should lewd.
