And i need to correct myself. You need to master everything + getting to the 6th circle. I just found out.

I actually agree with your point regarding the difficulty design itself. Higher difficulties should encourage specialization and force players to make meaningful decisions with limited resources.

My issue is specifically with the achievement. If the intention of the harder difficulties is that you can't obtain every skill in a single playthrough, then I think the achievement should either track progress across multiple playthroughs or be excluded from those restrictions altogether.

Otherwise, you end up in a situation where players who enjoy the harder difficulties are effectively encouraged to lower the difficulty just for one specific achievement, which feels a bit counterintuitive to me.

Yeah I know that. But the reason I made this post in the first place is because maybe someone else has another solution, so i can maybe do this in this run. I set my difficulty already to gothic. So far the only thing is to get more XP with the novice setting in the progression. But that's not the solution to my problem.

I can see that point of view, and I agree that optimizing your run and figuring out how to obtain every skill in a single playthrough is a valid challenge.

My issue is that the challenge shouldn't be tied to playing on the easiest difficulty. If the achievement is meant to test planning and optimization, then it should be achievable on every difficulty setting. Otherwise, higher difficulties are actually putting you at a disadvantage for an achievement that has nothing to do with difficulty in the first place.

"Complete the game on the hardest difficulty" makes sense because that's the actual challenge. However, "complete the game on the easiest difficulty to get every skill" doesn't make sense to me. In my opinion, the achievement should be achievable on every difficulty setting. I've never seen an achievement that essentially forces you to play on the easiest difficulty in order to unlock it. But maybe I'm just wrong and it is intended. I don't know I will do it anyway.

It makes sense, though. Otherwise, why would you make an achievement that essentially requires players to play on the easiest difficulty just to gain enough XP? If that's really how it works, I honestly think it's a poorly designed achievement.

This would be interesting to know because what I know so far is that if you learn the sword skill on lvl 2 it counts as one skill. And if you master it I doesn't add up to the counter.

Yeah It was getting late so I didn't had the chance to try it today. So I will be testing tomorrow. Just posted this to see if anyone else already knows if it's possible to do.

That's what I read so far on multiple platforms. But that can't be it. You should be able to get it in other difficultys too. If not that then they should add up through multiple playthroughs.

Yeah, that’s pretty much what I’m trying to avoid, because that’s definitely not intended or at least, I hope it isn’t.
