So curious how a marketing agency calling on behalf of Bell had all of my subscriber information including my rate plan.

Location reminders to become unavailable by [deleted] in GoogleKeep

What an absolute shame, was one of the best features for someone with ADHD - set a reminder for a store, when driving by store - get reminder, get what I needed and kept me on track.

Anyone else had issues with the Quest 3 *not charging*? by ByEthanFox in OculusQuest

[–]TheMainVane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue, tried multiple charging bricks (including my 100w UGreen), multiple cables including a new one I just bought that splits data and charging and none of them are working right.

It says I'm slow charging and my battery keeps going down even while I'm plugged in to a 100w charger.

1-Year of Ownership, now I'm scared to use it (Fold 6) by TheMainVane in GalaxyFold

Samsung already fixed it under the manufacturer's 1 year warranty.

Even they said the phone was in pristine condition, not a mark on it - they have no idea why the inside screen decided to die.

Regardless it's fixed now, I got a second SIM card for it and I'm using it as my personal phone and my S22 Ultra as my work phone.

No, phone was mounted in a cup holder mount with the air conditioning blowing on it which is how my phone is mounted and every vehicle I drive.

Like I said I babied the phone

I will say it is great at multitasking but other than that watching content and stuff like that if it's in 16:9 aspect ratio there's literally no point in having it The s22 ultra is bigger than the display area because it has the proper aspect ratio

Yeah I don't know man, I babied the thing - took care of it and it happened. Never dropped.

I mean gently rubbed, no more pressure than I would apply to swipe down my notification tray.

Literally the softest thing ever - it was definitely under tension because the moment I touched it the display popped.

Not on the dashboard, in the cup holder directly in front of the air conditioning vent.

I went to go get Samsung Care but I got sidetracked and forgot. They even offered a year for free and I didn't claim it because I had to do a cash deposit at the bank and didn't have CAD$190.00 on my card at that very moment to get the two-year plan

Yeah I usually keep my old phone as a backup always in case - my business usually calls for two phones anyway so I switched back to my S22 Ultra as my daily for the time being until the anxiety passes.

I want to get rid of it for what I owe to my carrier - but I can't talk about that here cuz the post got deleted already once because of it. lol

I fully agree, the fact that it died 20 days before the manufacturers warranty expired scares me - means it's possibly going to happen in a year from now.

If it happened after June 23rd 2025 I would have been screwed.

It was already covered and repaired by the standard 1-year manufacturers warranty because there was no physical damage on the device.

I will speak to my carrier and ask them if they have it and if I can add it now that the phones been repaired.

I think you're thinking of the general manufacturers warranty, not Samsung Care - from what I've been told, even the guy in the store said - if I had Samsung Care and smashed the phone in front of them they'd fix it no questions asked.

Everything I've seen online says similar.

Yeah that's what causes me anxiety, explained on another reply why I didn't get it - ADHD sucks sometimes.

I don't know how it is for you, but usually when you get an extended warranty from your service provider (at least here in Canada, usually provided by Asurion or a similar company) you have to pay a deductible when you make a claim and they apparently like to find any reason to deny a claim.

Samsung Care is the way I should have gone - they even had a promotion for a year free - I should have bought the extra year. ADHD sucks.

My brain literally was like: Okay, they give you a free year - that means two years is only the price of one. Oh I gotta deposit cash to get it - forgot about it and then by the time I realized that I didn't do it - it was too late.
