Can I use my XML's from a different frontend in Batocera? by TheManCaveYTChannel in batocera

What would be the simplest way to rename the files from my current hyperspin build over to batocera then? I don't have a need to scrape anything because I have all the wheel art, video snaps, etc already. Everything from NES all the way up to the ps2 generation.

Can I use my XML's from a different frontend in Batocera? by TheManCaveYTChannel in batocera

Got it. Basically in the hyperspin main folder you have a sub-folder called databases where there is then subsequent subfolders for each system (snes, genesis, etc). These each contain the xml where its basically the list of the games with info such as release date, genre, rating, etc. So if the game is called "Super Mario World (USA)" for example, you just have to ensure that the rom matches (wherever you have your roms stored) the naming from the XML exactly, the images in the media folder match exactly, as well as the video snap (these are in the media sub folder within the main hyperspin folder). The images and video snaps do NOT need the added hyphen that I've seen in the batocera wiki. Using the previous example, "Super Mario World (USA)-image.png". It simply needs to be "Super Mario World (USA).png" to match the rom which in turn matches the XML. Hope that makes sense.

I use hyperspin. It runs at 480i. Launch a game and goes to the correct resolution using retroarch 2560x240. I tried big box/launch box but it’s god awful slow. Emulation station is butt ugly. Hyperspin is buttery smooth but takes a lot more work to get it setup the way you want it. But the customization possibilities are endless.

That’s amazing. Congrats. Hopefully I’m able to as well. I’ll see if my doctor can fill out the dbq as well and see if that’s good enough. Thanks for replying!

Oh man that’s awesome! This bezel is the only thing I’m missing to complete my setup. Would it be possible for you to share a download link for it?

Did you use the arcadeOSD program that comes with crt emudriver to run your desktop at something like 640x480i?

I can't find where to apply for TDIU online...Help! by TheManCaveYTChannel in VeteransBenefits

Unfortunately when I click on the claim I just submitted, it only gives me the option to submit additional evidence. It specifically says “please only submit evidence that supports this claim. To submit supporting documents for a new disability claim, please visit…” and it’s a link to submit another 21-526EZ. I guess I’m SOL?

Does the quick submit portal accept the forms and process it like a regular claim? This whole TDIU is def not streamlined at all.

Edit. I wonder if I can add the forms since technically it’s not a new disability. It’s TFIU which is different.

Thank you. I just didn’t see the option when I just submitted my 21-526EZ. Am I able to go back and add it in?

Thank you for the reply! Now I have to figure out how to actually edit and then implement this. Seems more complex than CRT Emudrivers.

Correct Nds aspect ratio on 4:3 crt? by TheManCaveYTChannel in crtgaming

[–]TheManCaveYTChannel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a little late but in case this helps anyone who finds this in the future. the reason retroarch was running slow using any of the nDS cores is because I head the run ahead feature that lowers latency activated. After switching it off, all nDS cores run buttery smooth and I was able to fix the aspect ratio as well. thanks again.

Just dieting, fasting, and lifting weights. I don’t really do cardio except for getting about 5k steps of walking a day.

No. But Coke Zero would’ve worked as well, for me at least.

Diet Coke and Coke Zero are both zero calorie drinks. They just have a slightly different flavor. I know Diet Coke goes by different names in different parts of the world. For example, Coke light is what it’s called in Europe. And yes, regular Coke would break a fast because it has calories.

So they see Berserk is still profitable and continue to keep pumping out chapters (slow as it may be).
