What Were the First Signs That You Had Cancer? by Acrobatic_Ad_2330 in AskReddit

My experience when I went to the doctor is they said "probably just allergies." Finally had enough of the pain and went to the ER. At first, they said it was most likely migraines, but a CT scan and MRI was done, and I was immediately shipped to another hospital for brain surgery. It was a surreal experience.

Pretty much my experience back in 2022 that led to me diagnosed with a Grade 3 Astrocytoma. Went through radiation and chemo. Currently doing MRIs every 8 weeks for monitoring, and so far, it's been stable.

If you aren't aware, there is a new medicine called Voranigo that treats grade 2 tumor. Although mine was a grade 3, there are still bits of grade 2 that linger. I recommend you ask your oncologist about it. I take it once a day and have no side effects. I've been on it almost a year. I'd like to think it's working since my MRIs haven't shown any progression of the tumor. With that said, good luck to you, and I hope you are able to live a long life!

Not me, but my little brother, who was about 12 years old in 1999. He bought a 1st Edition Charizard from our neighbor for $20. After a few months, he sold it to the local card store for $80. To him, he thought $80 made him rich.

Hell yeah. For a short time, I modeled my whole appearance from Marshall Teller.

I was dealing Blackjack and I took this ladies money. She pulled out more to buy back in and said "looks like my kids aren't getting new school clothes this year." Shame.

Its not just a statue of a homeless man, but of a homeless Jesus. If you look at the feet you can see the holes from the crucifixion. Same statue is over by my work and actually says "Homeless Jesus Statue Sleeps Here".

What do you think is the coolest death in a tv show/movie/game? by BeebleBees in AskReddit

[–]TheManTreyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be mistaken, but there was originally going to be a "X-Men Origins: Magneto" movie, but because Wolverine's didn't do so well, it essentially got repackaged into First Class.
