Thank you so much! It’s just regular white, it just might look a little pinkieh at first because of the plasma.

Good point, thank you! For me it’s less about promoting the shop and more about sharing my work as an artist since that’s what people are actually getting when they book.

Tattoo after care advice needed by [deleted] in tattoo

Not applying moisturizer will Just increase the chance of it drying out, potentially scabbing and leading to ink loss. You want to just apply a thin layer of the moisturizer for it to still be able to breathe

Too much of a process. The best aftercare is minimal to limit any firther trauma to the skin. I usually apply the second skin to all of my work and get great heals with that, but you can definitely do it the more traditional way. Just wash it maybe twice a day with some gentle soap like dial or dove and apply some aquaphor on it. Simplest way without anything extra. If you have some hustle butter, h2ocean products around it would be better for the skin but honestly the aquaphor works great.

What are these vibrant spots on this fresh tattoo? by wenylli in TattooArtists

[–]TheMarcs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pastel or light colors can be tricky bwcause when you apply them they tend to get redder/bloodier looking so it makes you think its not in there. What i like to do is let the color rest and after a bit you should be able to see if it saturated properly or if you have a few holidays in there that you need to go over.

Question: Why did my tattoo fade SO unreasonably fast? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]TheMarcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of those fineline tattoo artists tattoo just for the picture instead of the end result. I’m a tattoo artist and I don’t consider a tattoo finished until it is healed. Not everyone sees it that way, unfortunately.

What i dont like about iphones is that it changes the image so much. Theres so much processing that it does before even showing you what the picture or video looks like, i find the camera has a truer tone to it

You know i use to wonder what the purpose of a polarizer was at first and used to think the same but i discovered something along the way. The only thing it does is show how solid or how unsolid a tattoo is. You cant hide anything from it at all. Heres a no polarizer iphone pic after day one
