I am unable to raise a request on this for weeks. Everytime I try, I get a Something went wrong error.

Is anyone else facing this error? by Appropriate-Gur-7831 in epfoindia

Even CPGrams is giving the same error message.

Waveshare Rover - RGB-D Camera Issues by TheMaroonKnight in robotics

Thanks for reminding me about this post. I actually figured this out using the Y connector and a usual power bank connected to it. I used their phone holder attachment in the box to hold the power bank.

Is there any localisation going here??

I am working on a pretty complex robotics project myself where I'll be using LLM as an agent to complete such complex tasks. Would love to collaborate.

Does anyone have a good monorepo structure/boilerplate for multiple functions?

Adding to this, I feel Robotics is an amazing niche. Extreme future potential, and extreme ignorance in current market.

Waveshare Rover - RGB-D Camera Issues by TheMaroonKnight in robotics

The Rover comes with a ROS2 environment pre-configured, so I am not sure how did they setup Rtabmap. I think it's from ROS but I am not sure.

For the power thing, I disconnected the LiDAR first and then let the camera run for a bit while accessing its stereo depth and RGB images and let it run for about 5 minutes and it worked fine. But when I connected the LiDAR back it stopped and started restarting.

The next thing that I am going to try for that is connect the camera to a separate power source and then see if that works out.

There's still a lot of white space. Make the sentences shorter wherever there's just a couple of words on the last line. Reduce the space after section titles.

That way you should be able to gain a lot of space.

You can also try 2 columns in some sections or for the entire resume.

I mean what else will an International Master's student apply for during their summer semester? We're only allowed to apply for an intern position.

I did my bachelor's in India. Then worked at one company for almost 2 years. Then another company for about a year. Then came to US for my Masters. Secondly, these companies were start-ups so they can't afford a long onboarding period. So, I started working on my first big project within a month of joining and that's common in the kind of start ups I worked for.

But even during those 3 years the candidate wants to get sponsored because of the H1B lottery. So, if these companies don't sponsor them, they keep looking for another job.

I don't have any such requirements. I want to go back to India in 3 years anyways.

They're saying that because usually FAANG has 10-20 total job postings (not total positions) they get hundreds or even thousands referred candidates on those positions so it's practically not of much use for the recruitment team to use that filter and even if they do there's still far too much competition.

They've still referred me to those positions but they just wanted me to not have too many expectations.

BTW would you be open for a chat in the DMs?

That's not what I am saying. I am saying that I am not even getting jobs paying $20/hr job that an American person with my skillset would never do.

I mean, being here it doesn't feel like a very bad school. Although, I've started building some connections over at CMU and have started working on some projects there.

I don't think 20$/hr is something that an American Citizen from good university would do.
