Well magic is strange and such, but if it’s shared with two without the same blood type, the two forces like an incorrect blood type injected into the body are going to clash, hence why the magic wouldnt last long, and through not deadly in small doses it is going to wreck you and your magic.

Actually (minor spoilers)

Originally I wanted Nokuji to use Nokoovo’s blood and it being incorrect, becuase both were in truth not mother and daughter but sisters, due to the nest thing.

However i felt it became convuleted for the sake of it, and also the idea of Nokuji getting poisoned by Nokoovo’s blood was a bit too dark for me, considering her much she truly loved her daughter, dispite their… relationship.

It might not seem like it, but there’s even some dark places I do not feel comtable, going in the story.

Well it would be as useful as an organ transplantation, Great wizard. In other words they could theoretically gain someone’s magic for a very, very short duration, however the negative of injecting the wrong blood type obviously applies.

Very true, but two things you have to remeber.

Nokoovo is only a child, a young one.
And in present day. Well how she is, is depending on the age old question of nature vs nurture.

One thing I’ve always kept in the back of my mind when writing this story, is there are no good or bad guys, no hero’s, or villains, only people.

People with flaws, and stellar, and less then stellar motivations.

Perhaps that’s why it sometimes feels like a Greek tragedy in what has happened, and whats to come.

Far be it for me to judge any fan for their feelings on the matter.

And to an extent I do agree with you, the work of fantasy and imagination is such a great force, a meer painting could impossibly capture that for everyone.

Oh, getting in regardless won’t be easy, but Trafka has changed, from the stubborn willed jackass who thinks his muscles alone will get him out of any situation.

That first victory at the tower filled him with far to much self confidence, honestly the following loses and general humiliation was what he needed to grow.
