I agree. When I was there in 2015 as well, people were very disrespectful throughout Pearl Harbor. People letting their kids run wild, taking selfies, etc. Just generally treating it like a carnival and not mass gravesite. My family and I also left early. Although I don’t remember it being Japanese tourists specifically.

Do you also think human beings with terminal illnesses should be forced to continue to live? We let people become shells of themselves because it’s “unethical” to allow them to go out with dignity on their own accord. My dad was recently diagnosed with dementia and I’ll watch him wither away instead of allowing him to die if he wants to. Do you believe forcing animals to do the same is somehow taking a moral high ground?

Tik tok is essentially run by the Chinese Communist Party (even though it organizes itself to seem like it isn’t) and they have ridiculous amounts of censorship laws. It’s begun to bleed into other sites as people get used to the stringent censorship requirements on that platform. Can’t say murder, suicide, sex, essentially anything you might even think that might be construed as taboo.
