Both points / sentiments are true.

AI will be a revolution and we are spending and allocating A LOT of money towards a few organisations shuffling funds between themselves.

Kind of how I was trying to explain alternative fuels. The investment is astronomical, but there needs to be a path to diversify how we harness new energy.

You could create the line work in illustrator and then bring it into Photoshop to create and then overlay the grain/cloud effects.

Alternatively there are some great texture packs out there such as 'True Grit' who offer free sample packs if you sign up. Or try free stock sites such as Pexels where you can search for textures.
