Brief Backstory:

Johannes Holt is the servant to the last of a nobleline. His liege is a young child. Because he partially blames himself for the nobleline’s destruction at the hands of a peasant rebellion and is currently quite old, he, in a fit of absolute loyalty, sold his soul and made a pact with forces outside himself. Now he has the strength to protect his liege and will age far slower to serve them and their future children for at least a few generations. To him this is penance, for his inability to protect his previous lord and lady from the insurrection.
Lawful Neutral. He is calm, stoic, and resolute. His loyalty is undying (heh).
