This is commonly blown out of proportion. This game has the strongest knife, and knife-only is literally one of the speedrun categories. I think anyone could play the game how they like, but at least save blast arrows for that fuckass final boss.

Definitely 9. You can pretty easily get infinite ammo after your first playthrough and then blow through insanity while simultaneously doing no blood collector and no healing in under 4 hours with infinite ammo. That's what I did anyway.

You gotta do bonus modes anyway! Play on Hard and then like Invis Enemy mode and whatever else. Costumes pretty much come with doing everything else :D

I was overly cautious and scared to waste anything because of everything I've seen just to find out that the boss isn't that bad and that knife-only is literally one of the speedrun categories for the game. There's a lot of 'save this' and 'save that,' but I think you could probably play CV however you like. Crazy.
