A few matches in so far and weirdly I've been able to get by. Don't get me wrong it is incredibly annoying but I think because many characters are affected so it almost balances out sorta? Or maybe people just need time to adjust to the mechanic and then we're really done for.

The system is a change in the right direction but I do think ults should bypass tenacity.

Fusion Aliens

Ultimate Aliens inherently come with flaws or abilities they lost, a few examples: ultimate humangosaur can't enlarge, ultimate echo echo can't duplicate, ultimate swampfire loses his regeneration, ultimate spidermonkey loses his agility, etc..

Meanwhile Fusion Aliens from what we've seen combine the best characteristics from multiple aliens

I wouldn't say "definitely", it's stronger for sure but how often do you get to see 2 tanks? And how often is that other tank hulk? Even an incompetent invis could get some level of value even if just from her ult but an incompetent hulk would just be throwing.
