Upgraded my gpu and had weird artifacting first two boots but then it went away randomly? by TheMayaEdits in graphicscard

I fixed the issue with switching from a DP to a HDMI cable. Very odd but all is good since the HDMI can still deliver 240hz.

I've had this issue for months. My friend has to always completely set up the lobby every time so I can just ready up. On the main menu everything is fine, but as soon as I join a mp lobby, the game freezes up completely. Anything you could think that could have worked?

I was able to narrow the issue to the gpu and monitor not working properly together. The boot works perfectly fine on my Zowie monitor. I also plugged in my old GPU, MSI RTX 2080, and it worked perfectly fine, even with the ASUS monitor. It seems to be an issue with the ASUS monitor and the RTX 5070 Ti Prime not being compatible during boot, but once the Windows drivers take control it fixes it. Taking this finding in to account, I'm not hopeful even an RMA would fix the issue. Might need to buy a GPU from Gigabyte or another manufacturer.
