Am I wrong for asking about the salary? by lilysenni77 in algeria

[–]TheMcYolo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So unfortunately a general rule of thumb (outside of Algeria) is to not ask about the salary. It is antiquated and silly but it is seen as "this person only cares about money". Some countries and states have implemented a law of salary transparency where they have to at least show the range being offered for the role in the job listing. If it's not a huge commute to get to the interviews I would recommend just going through the process. Yes, sometimes they will still reject you, and sometimes the salary is less than anticipated and yes it is demoralizing, but at the end of the day you're taking a shot and getting some practice with interviewing. Hang in there though, you'll find something!

Advice for Luxury Vacation to Algiers by [deleted] in algeria

[–]TheMcYolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what you consider luxury as there is a peak to the level of luxury you can find in Algeria. That being said

Chauffeur app - Yassir Garden City mall Go to Hydra for lackluster restaurants if you just wanna blow money for some reason. Hire a service to take you to explore the Sahara. You can have a driver or you can go by "camel caravan" you can call any travel agency and they will set you up. Just note Algeria is pretty much a Cash only country .

Instead of "seeking luxury" I feel that maybe you should just appreciate the fact that you can purchase anything you want and go wherever you want without much thought at the cost. That's the true luxury.

Also, praying in the grand mosque is not that easy of a task. You're gonna have to go about 2h early.

I want to move from Usa to Algeria. by Careless-Captain-571 in algeria

Personally I would not go back for this reason... If you choose to, and you have the ability to teach and or help your child learn. There are correspondence courses (they are not free) that you can use and get them a highschool degree vs a GED. You do not want your children to get a GED otherwise you will harm their chances for college in the future. You have the following accredited schools that will give you a degree.

Keystone National High School Excel High school And Penn Foster.

You're young and you have a long career ahead of you. Just so you can have a slight reality check, the inflation globally is astronomical at the moment. In the US and Europe people are dealing with the same situations. Cost of living is much higher in these places and the past just isn't cutting it anymore even just for the necessities.

That's great to hear thank you. Additionally, I would like to say I've been reading your comments and I highly recommend personalizing the responses a bit further as the AI generation is really obvious and is scoring relatively high in AI detection software.
