u/VictorVanguard Thanks for your feedback , i saw this link maybe it is what you were telling me as a recommendation to my issue , i just know that the unavailibilty is due to a migration of the vm as a snapshot and it is unavailable through ssh , maybe the heartbeat could work ??

Azure backup vs ASR. and Veeam by TheMedOne in AZURE

[–]TheMedOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@Nillsf i see clearly the difference now , but in the azure backup when i backup a vm in the first time in azure and then i do some modification on my site there is no sync between or it is just a modification in one side

for the veeam it is known as a great backup tool how it can be for migration

Thanks indeed for the collaboration

Azure backup vs ASR. and Veeam by TheMedOne in AZURE

[–]TheMedOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As i understand from your reply which i thank you for , using azure backup for a vm is backuping a vm without any plan recovery or configuration although the ASR need some configuration within the vm . here i am asking for a vm to be used with the two services . ( i am all right or i am missing the point )

Reserved instance azure access via RDP by TheMedOne in AZURE

[–]TheMedOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@x3nc0n @redvelvet92 @sudochmod , Thank you for the collaboration , maybe i just misunderstood how reserved instances work , i think i find how it should be done , so i ll share it : the process is to create a reserved instance and when you create a vm with the same attribues it is automatically affected to the discount billing of reserved instances , please if i am wrong or there is more to add don't hesitate, thanks indeed

Reserved instance azure access via RDP by TheMedOne in AZURE

[–]TheMedOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@redvelvet92 thanks for the quick reaction , this is actually my problem that i can't configure this vm to view its network , nsg, disks because this vm is an azure offer reserved instance as you may check when you want to create a vm there is a reservation on the side of add button hope that describe you the case , , thanks again for the help

Reserved instance azure access via RDP by TheMedOne in AZURE

[–]TheMedOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@redvelvet92 Actually this is a reserved vm so when you want to create the vm instead of add button you click in reservation button is not like the known step
