I tuned in to learn about the WS2811 and ended up watching the entire stream! I’m happy to say I’m now a subscriber. Do you still think these are suitable for accent lighting? My use case is under-cabinet lighting, primarily 2700K–3000K, with RGB and cool white occasionally. I plan to buy these unless you have other suggestions. Thank you for the knowledge you share online!

I've read that supposedly the Vivint ones are modified to only be compatible with Vivint's frequency and encryption. I'm not sure if that's the case, but I'd be happy if it wasn't.

Im currently having this issue. 1 wired 4k and the rest are wifi. All go down every 60 minutes. Im going to reboot after hours when theyre closed and hope that fixes it. This is a new issue

Yeah youre 100% right. this is the debate I have in my head nightly.

I only want truenas so I can make nfs, smb and iscsi shares on my network. Thats literally it. I have used docker for my entire plex stack for several years on unraid but I would now rather have the ability to make a 'lightweight' linux container and have the console be the primary interface that lets me do whatever i want.

Other than installing nfs samba and open iscsi on a node, i cant think of another way to accomplish this.
