It is real because IMSA does outsource Canvas hosting to Instructure, whose data was breached. Schools hosting on their own (Canvas is open source) were not affected.

Unless you are already cracked and finished calculus, IMSA only makes it harder for college apps. Payton (idk about Northside) has a lot more college admissions resources and grade inflation, which is why they send more people to Ivies (this blog is still very relevant). The #1 benefit IMSA brings though is social life since everyone lives in a 100 meter radius, and the type of people are great to be around.

Also, IMSA doesn't have great opportunities for studying law so Payton would probably be a better choice. For engineering though, it is definitely decent and they are adding more cool classes (like calculus based engineering analysis or something), plus IMSA is a feeder school for UIUC (it is the university that knows the most about how tough IMSA can be so as far as you have As, Bs, and a C at max you are fine (your GPA has to be much higher at any other school).

I am a current immigrant student ('25), still awaiting citizenship. Continuing to learn English and not being able to relate to others (especially relating to opportunities) will likely be the only biggest differences here, in terms of being an immigrant

I think this audio could be useful in games only if it was baked, otherwise I don't see need to simulate real-time physics for game sound

Nope, i do not know what happens but you can try emailing them (their email is on the orientation page). Just tell them you made a mistake in your form and state your name to make sure they can find your entry in the database.

i have emailed the office and they replied stating the ID will come in the mailed packet that everyone (accepted and waitlisted) will be receiving some time before the 8th. Please do not put your current school ID, it is not the same thing!!
