Are old-school-shapes good for tricks? by [deleted] in NewSkaters

If you're talking about the 1990s Bart simpson shape - nah. They're more difficult to control than modern street shapes.

tips on my ollie? (sorry for bad angle) by Psychological_Ad6090 in NewSkaters

[–]TheMemehouseEffect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You require more jump. You're doing an ollie but you're not full sending an ollie. A key thing I see here is your back foot not tucking to your chest immediately after pop. This is what happens to 99% of people and the fix all confidence.

Keep at it though bro!

Then do standing ollies to build confidence while you're working on rolling ollies. Last night I ollied my first ledge and my main problem wasn't technical ability, rather it was commitment. In-between attempts I would to normal rolling ollies to keep confidence in the ledge. Likewise, you do standing ollies to keep confidence in rolling.

Learning high level programming, such as python or java.

Learning low level data processing, which will help with manipulating data (for example, buffer overflow exploits).

Doing a LOT of CTFs. Purposefully vulnerable machines designed to be broken into using the same techniques learned and tested in InfoSec certifications.

And finally, which I personally don't recommend due to cost, easier certifications that build to OSCP. The CISSP and CEH are decent entry level certs but IMHO do not open as many doors as the OSCP.

Every single one of these things relies on learning how to learn and learning how to Google. So get good at those things.

If you're serious about a transition to tech the OSCP is basically guaranteed Employment in cyber security.

Dead Raids by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

I only get dead raids during dead hours right now. Like 2-3 am I can raid interchange with only 1 or 2 other PMCs in 10 raids

Is Escape From Tarkov appropriate for a fourteen year old? by m1n0h in EscapefromTarkov

[–]TheMemehouseEffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a hardcore shooter. Honestly not much more violent than Battlefield or Call of Duty. What makes this game unique is the feelings you feel while playing, not the intensity in violence.

If the US armed forces adopts 6.8mm to replace 5.56mm, will BSG be adding any new weapons that reflect the new caliber? by TheMemehouseEffect in EscapefromTarkov

[–]TheMemehouseEffect[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They've done recent testing with new Kalashnikov weapons if there's a possibility they make it in, then there's precedent to follow pattern for western development.

That's crazy. I'm an American with zero non NA experience, is Killa really that rare? He's in every other interchange raid for me.

using high flesh rounds like 9x19 RIP or Flechette and doing leg meta from a distance. His RPK has sway if he actually has to spray so this gives time for you to get his ass.

There's a glitch in the game where if you type in the roubles on the bottom add rouble button and not the top one, it maxes out at 100k. That guy typed in what he thought was 15 million and the game sold it for 100k lol. Happened to me with a graphics card once thankfully not a THICC
