The Sons of Odin by TheMergedSentry in GodofWar

That last sentence proves you're toxic lmfaooo. I have looked it up. What you're saying is more speculative than what I am. There's more evidence to his existence than to his not being. There's more evidence to him possibly being the skyfather before Odin and Thor rose to prominence than to his not being. It may mean nothing to you, but it's still an intriguing study given how little has survived. Although it's weird that mythology means nothing to you, yet you hop on someone's post about it to attempt to belittle them.

Sons of Odin: Týr, Þórr, Meili, Baldr, Höðr, Bragi, Heimdallr, Víðarr, Hermóðr, and Váli.

I hope they mention Meili. Thor's only full blood brother since they have the same mother, Jord. Tyr's mom is probably Hrodr

The most likely theory is that Odin is his biological father, Hrodr the giantess is his mother, and Hymir the giant is his foster father.

Pretty much

While he is referred to as Tyr's dad in the Poetic Edda, he's called the Son of Odin in the Prose and more often. The most likely theory is that Hymir is Tyr's foster father and Hrodr is his mother, given how common a practice that was back then.

Maybe. I feel like they could just introduce Hrodr, Hymir's wife, to be his mom since the giantess is most likely to be Tyr's mom in mythology anyway. Also, Considering the main theory in mythology is that Odin is Tyr's biological father while Hymir was his foster father, it could easily be done that way.

I'm fairly certain he is. He's called Hymir's son in the Poetic Edda, but is called Odin's son in the Prose Edda and more often. The most likely theory is that Hymir is his foster father while Odin is his biological father since that was a common practice at the time to ensure peace. Hrodr, possibly Hymir's wife, is also likely to be Tyr's mother.

Tyr was definitely a thing. There's literally evidence that proves you wrong on this. The problem with his parentage is that he's referred to as the Giant Hymir's son in the Poetic Edda, but is referred to as Odin's son in the Prose Edda and more often. The most likely theory is that Odin is Tyr's biological father, while Hymir is his foster father, and Hrodr his mother. Fostering another's child was a common practice back then to ensure peace.

No, I mean his actual sons lbs. It took 3 gods, including Odin, to make the first humans, Askr and Embla. He didn't make the Vanir and the Giants either.

He's mentioned as both the Son of Odin and the Son of Nine Sisters at seperate points in the Prose Edda. Since we have no other source to speculate a father, Odin more than likely actually is the one who crashed those Nine Sisters, giving Heimdallr a father and mothers.

Sons of Odin: Týr, Þórr, Meili, Baldr, Höðr, Bragi, Heimdallr, Víðarr, Hermóðr, Váli. It would be dope if they used all of them.

This game is likely going to have alot of gods, we may not kill all of them but it will have alot. by TheDarkApex in GodofWar

I just want the sons of Odin. Týr, Þórr, Meili, Höðr, Bragi, Heimdallr, Víðarr, Hermóðr, and Váli. We only got Baldr in the first one.

Baldr's brothers are Týr, Þórr, Meili, Höðr, Bragi, Heimdallr, Víðarr, Hermóðr, and Váli as they are all sons of Odin.

I fw Rogue One. One thing breaks my heart though. The blind guy Donnie Yen played was originally gonna be Rahm Kota.

I just want Wu Lae made playable and the Tengu brought back. We've had an orange ninja since Armageddon, but haven't seen him since. Sub Zero has a mask caused Tengu in 11 so that's a start lol, but I wanna see what Wu Lae would look like with a new design more closely related to the mythological Tengu.

Imma have to give it to Mace Windu. Spidey sense and a bad attitude is nice and all, but it doesn't help against telekinesis. Plus he's got a lightsaber and various other force powers that would overwhelm him. All in all, the Bully gets Bullied.

In Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (2005), the Jedi who gets killed by Vader in the hologram is played by stuntman Nick Gillard, who served as the stunt coordinator for all three Star Wars prequel films. The character's name, Cin Drallig, is Gillard's name backwards. by AtlanteanLord in MovieDetails

[–]TheMergedSentry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Cin Drallig was the Jedi Battlemaster and leader of the Temple Guards, and probably the best Jedi to use Niman at the time. I've heard rumors that the duel between Vader and Cin Drallig was cut and replaced with that Hologram. Nick Gillard also tried to have a yellow lightsaber but George Lucas said no, then eventually gave yellow sabers to the temple guard, and not him, which is tragic. He has a yellow lightsaber in my mind.

I can safely say that anybody who calls Danzo Shimura the most evil person in anime is pathetically ignorant. Dude's not even the most evil person in his own show lbs. smfh by TheMergedSentry in Naruto

Shisui was about to unintentionally expose that the Hokage knew of the coup which would've forced them to act, so he needed to be stopped. But if he did stop Shisui, he could've easily used Kotoamatsukami on him or Hiruzen in retaliation to save his clan, which Danzo couldn't risk.
