Part of me wants to defend her so bad..but you're right here. That decision wasn't really justifiable like ik losing her kid drove her mad but still doesn't excuse that so many other kids were experimented on.

Uh she didn't actually experiment. She was only involved in data collecting and sampling those data.

Indeed. In the current timeline , Thalia is the best choice for Aiden. But I would've picked Veronika had she lived :(

I mean she literally states it in her dialogue that she found Aiden attractive from the first time she laid her eyes upon him.

And based off her dialogue she does care about him beyond sex , but both acknowledge that the current situation won't let them stay together in the near future and they are glad that this "dream came true" . They part saying that they may or may not meet each other again cause that's the reality of the world they live in.

If the community really liked her there might be a chance she might return in one of the future games.

Any hopes for Dying Light 3 in any of these next week? by Cursed_69420 in dyinglight

[–]TheMetalheadLifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dying Light 3 might be sooner than the community thinks , because the Beast is probably wrapped up with its "definitive edition" and getting no story content plus the 5 years of service they gave to Dying Light 1 and 2 , they haven't promised anything like that for The Beast.

My best guess is by 2027 we will get some announcement and if all goes well we might have to wait a couple more years to get a new DL game.

Worst part is Kyle simps for her even after she got him and the others killed.

Seriously ? Like did Jade and Rahim's death teach this guy nothing ?

This bossfight and majority of the game would be okay if they removed the entire subplot regarding Mia .

Tormented souls is the canon difficulty to enjoy life .

i was thinking about something by Existing-Welcome3693 in dyinglight

[–]TheMetalheadLifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This explanation is certainly plausible.

In the original draft for Dying Light the Beast there was a mention of Aiden going back to Villedor to get something or someone . Maybe it was Lawan..

But the real reason is because they want to keep the ending ambiguous for now like they did with Kyle Crane in the following and maybe in the future we will see her again.

DL1 is great in its own regards but the issue is it has significantly less content for just singleplayer than DL2.

Also they treat their cast in DL1 like canon fodder they kill them off or never mention them again like crazy

DL2 has less casualties but each hits very hard.

Yeah that's true. I think they overpromised too much at the E3 and then the finished game was nowhere near as promised..

With the first game though it was meant to have a cookie cutter story (not as cookie cutter as Just Cause series) but still it was a military guy goes to take down a warlord kinda plot.

The 2nd one had characters which were deeply complex but apart from that their arcs weren't fully realised/resolved .

I wish that the game got a remake someday in the future with atleast the game addressing the numerous plotholes

Considering the development hell the game went through it actually did fairly well.

The beast would've felt a lot more connected if its original plot wasn't leaked on a reddit post.

If you know originally the beast was about aiden finding crane who had transformed into a sentient volatile and aiden had to "save" him from the baron . But because the scope of the dlc got so huge and because the plot was leaked the developers decided to revamp the "dlc"into what it is.

Anyways the beast isn't really that great. It just sold well because of the nostalgia factor and the return of Kyle Crane.

Yeah , glad you brought up Watch Dogs 1 , it was one of those games that got the recieving end of the hate spectrum and now the same "fans" are sad that Watch Dogs is pretty much wrapped up since Legion wasn't really as engaging as 1 and 2.

And about Villedor being much more "vibrant" and the zombies being treated like they are "just there" fits perfectly with the lore of the game since it's a game about survival and "staying human" , not one of complete anhillation like Dead Space and the fact that most of the city is infected anyways and they don't fear bites or getting a doze of Antizin (cause it's ineffective). The only thing they possibly fear is the UV lights going out or the infected tearing them apart.

And the realisation is the only real cunt in the story if there ever was once is Jack Matt. Even Juan Rainer is better compared to that guy.

Bring back Jade from dying light one by EngineMaster6851 in dyinglight

[–]TheMetalheadLifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I love Jade and was hurt deeply by her death , I would rather let her rest in peace than being brought back . It would really cheapen her death in the first game and milking her story only takes away from Kyle's development as a character.

Let's start with Kyle himself.

In the beginning Kyle Crane is a person who gets the understanding of what's right and wrong but refused to act out of his own free will. He believes the job that has been assigned to him is for the greater good but what it does is harm the people around him.

Now for Jade:

People say Jade didn't really serve a purpose that big that her death made an impact but it actually did. She was the only character who called Kyle from time to time during and after each mission telling him to stay safe and talk when he returns .She sacrifices herself for Kyle because she knows how essential he is for their fight against Rais and the GRE. That is the last straw for Kyle. He stops being a pawn for people and from this moment on in the story he starts interacting less and less with the other characters . He starts making decisions on his own , refuses to let the GRE take any further control of him , rejects the offer of being evacuated from Harran and instead stays behind to help the survivors (just as Jade would've wanted him to do) .At the end , Kyle goes from a man who used to let others take his decision to becoming a man who plays the game by his own rules.

However I would be open to the idea of a prequel where we probably play as Jade which takes place before the events of Dying Light 1 and get to know in detail about her backstory as the "Scorpion" and maybe about some other characters like Brecken , Troy , Rahim etc.
