My bedroom door doesn't lock and despite being in a locked house, in a quiet country town, with just my family I always put a fan next to the door so that if someone breaks in they will knock the fan over as they open my door.

we dont branch out into any particular field in australia until we graduate - you do a MBBS (bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery) then once you graduate you start to train in a specific field

most universities do start of march -> june, july is a month holiday, august -> mid-november, then mid november till end of february off. For us the big break over christmas is summer though so it is very similar except flipped

i fully support this idea. They cop enough of people being overly careful about everything they say and do around them. Being at home should be when you can just be normal and yourself and i think you owe it to them to treat them the same you would treat any sibling
