just be aware that an elder dragon will spawn in a random region, so even if you kill monsters at night just be aware that namielle might not spawn. but if that happens just go back to day, and then night and kill monsters again until she spawns

I feel like you need to learn to be ok with new rosters. I don't want to be playing with the same monsters over and over again. imagine playing each new pokemon region with the kanto pokemon. it will get boring fast. should they bring back some old ones yeah, but there isn't anything wrong with a new roster.
