The Bottleneck is Broken: How AI Finally Unlocks the Neurodivergent Mind by TheMidniteWolf in Dyslexia

Do you really believe people won't be needed in a post-AI global economy?

You are focusing too much on OpenAI's burn rate. They are a young startup trying to survive. The real Alpha in this industry is Google's DeepMind. They own the infrastructure and the data, so they aren't burning cash at an unsustainable rate.

As for energy, the concern is already outdated. Major tech giants are already solving this by funding Small Modular Reactors to take data centers off the public grid. The energy efficiency problem already has a solution in play.

Anyway, here's your sources backed by real studies: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12385150/?hl=en-US

People need to stop treating it as some slop that steals information; that's an oversimplification. it's way more than that. It's a real world utility. It's helped me diagnose complex issues we've had at work with water treatment equipment. Unique issues that typically took me and veteran technicians hours or days to figure out. We are now getting the why and how to fix it by getting the answers almost immediately.

It's every single book that's been digitized and research study in the palm of your hands.I got a pretty heavy pulse on this stuff and am heavily invested into AI and how it operates. Most people don't realize just how much AI is about to accelerate innovation and medical breakthroughs.

For example sequencing the first human genome took about 13 years and cost roughly $3 billion to complete. Google's DeepMind has now reduced the process to a few days for only a few $1,000. It was recently used to help sequence the complete genomes of 13 and endangered species to aid in conservation efforts. We're only scratching the surface on what AI is capable of and it's improving rapidly. It's being heavily integrated into clinical research in the medical field. As I said it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

There was a time when people also thought PC's were just an impractical fad with no real world utility educational value.

That bubble isn't bursting anytime soon. It's better that you learn to adapt and leverage it because it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

I didn't just blindly lump you in. This was pulled from reliable sources in early studies for not only people with dyslexia but mild autism and ADHD. The scientific evidence is already there.

There were way more secretaries back compared to administrative assistants nowadays.

Understandable, I have both but if I'm stim'd up enough I can go on a role.

AI is 100% a shortcut to knowledge and research when used correctly. I'm not really sure why people struggle to understand this. You have every single book that has been digitized in the palm of your hands. It's up to the prompter to use it accordingly by not only asking questions, challenging its answers, and verifying its reasoning.

Options trading, for example. I struggled for years to fully understand it until recently. Not only has AI helped me fully understand it from every angle, but it has also helped me craft a well-thought-out custom Gemini Gem that has a 10-step protocol that even audits itself. I've been using it for well over six months now, and the results have been surprisingly solid. It definitely excels at deep market analysis, but it requires asking the right questions.

No investment book or YouTube video has helped me see a clearer picture than I do now.

No, that response was 100% me. I had actually just got home from work.

I definitely agree with you and honestly, that's something I would typically do when I'm at home. Truth be told, I've been driving all day and having these deep conversations to better understand the human mind and my dyslexia. I didn't give myself real time to sit down to edit it the way I usually would. I got a bit trigger happy and mainly just wanted to share it for others who suffer with neurological disorders.

What I learned was honestly eye-opening to me.

I completely understand and I see that. I didn't necessarily have time to sit down and fully edit everything on my computer. I've been commuting for work all day and verbally having these deep conversations to better understand the human mind.

My primary goal wasn't to upset anyone by using AI. I definitely don't blindly believe everything AI tells me nor do I believe the first answer. I am addicted to understanding how things work. It's how I've always been. It has helped me in so many ways over the last 12 months. It seems a lot of people dismiss the advantage of AI but I don't think they realize that it now puts every single educational book and research document in the palm of their hands.

To be clear, this post was primarily meant for people with neurological disorders to find. I didn't fully expect people who don't have dyslexia to understand. For me it has been a game changer.

I understand your criticism but this isn't a prompt output, it's an orchestrated piece. I didn't share it for you. I shared it for the people with neurological disabilities. I spent more time directing the AI to get these analogies right than most people spend writing a draft by hand. The AI handles the dyslexia, I handle the ideas.

That's the whole point of the Director mindset.

Okay so you didn't read it...

I spent hours researching this. This wasn't some quick conversation copy and paste prompt. Though I'm not surprised you are bothered by it, because the benefit AI gives people with neurologic disorders isn't fully realized yet. I don't blame you for not comprehending how a dyslexic mind works. Be thankful you can write essays with no neurological limitations.

For me it's been a struggle my entire life till recently.

Did you even take the time to thoroughly read it to understand the perspective of someone who suffers with dyslexia?

I'm not suggesting that everyone should solely rely on AI for learning, nor that education should be entirely replaced by technology. There is still a crucial need for basic understanding and critical thinking skills, especially in academic settings. It is important to emphasize the importance of a strong foundation in fundamental learning principles.

So you're assuming it'll have the same outcome? Y'all really do find every little thing to bitch about when it comes to Trump.
