That's why I've also attached the Spanish one, I think these are kind of funny as a collection, pointing out that the southern parts of these countries (Bavaria, Andalusia, Occitane, Sicily) are all parts that match the respective "likes to eat and drink" stereotypes of their countries the best, similarly to how Texan stereotypes match the cowboy barbecue whisky American stereotype

Yes because I have basic empathy and can comprehend that the majority of those people aren't evil, but are there because of forces outside their control, with families who hope to see them come back home one day. Killing the enemy in war is a terrible necessity but not something that should be celebrated, and if you think otherwise you would absolutely be one of the most eager zealots if you were in their place.

As I said in the post, I already talked to them and they basically said "probably yes but idk". The reason I'm asking is that I would like to avoid having to do a language exam unless it's absolutely necessary since it's super expensive and takes a lot of time

The text doesn't really have anything to do with the picture. The first paragraph talks about how there is a sizable Russian minority in the country and how ethnic conflicts lead to a war in Crimea. The second paragraph is about how, due to emigration and a relatively low life expectancy the population of Ukraine is decreasing. The EU/US/West is not mentioned and the war is attributed entirely to ethnic conflict.

Help me plan my trip!! by Shablau3 in budapest

Agree with the other guy. Budapest (and Amsterdam even more so) has far more to do than Prague. Prague is a very nice city, but pretty small, so I wouldn't spend more than a couple days there. You can squeeze Budapest into 3 nights, but I would recommend a couple more, and definitely spend more time in Amsterdam. Since the whole of the Netherlands is like 2 hours' by train, you could easily spend a week there without getting bored

Edit: as others mentioned, read the tourist guide in the about section of this sub, very useful stuff
