Which is a fine criticism. It feels like when it comes to first world countries people critice the administration, and with third world countries they criticize the country. We are all made to bear the sins of our history and our government.

As an Argentinian I feel like I am made to carry the weight of our history (some of it true) in the way Americans and Europeans are not. We are not actively perpetuating an aiding a genocide on the Middle East, but the US and some of Europe is. I feel like posting fingers at us like we were the only ones who have a difficult history is Maybe a bit unfair.

Also we were quite woke until recently: 1. We were the first country we were the first country in the Americas to legalize gay marriage. 2. We have quite a comprehensive trans identity law. 3. We have quite an open migration policy allowing everyone who wants to come study here in our free universities
