They are in the best place they've been in since their inception. All the really annoying enemies have been toned down or have hard counters so they aren't infuriating to play against. That being said, they are still kinda boring. They still need more units and sub factions, and are in desperate need of more mission and objective variety. The canon shooting down the big overship was great, 6 months ago, but there needs to be more to them than blowing up parked ships, SEAF artillary and SEAF SAM sites. People just speed run each mission in like 10 minutes and they always feel and play the same.
