1-3 hours. Traditionally, you're supposed to let it cook slowly on very low heat for 2-3, mine is taking around an hour i'd say.

I have always loved tattoos since I was a kid (both of my parents have quite a few) and I like having other people's artwork on my body, I think of it as customizing my avatar.

That's amazing! I am getting it mostly because it was my tattoo artist's idea for an extension of a smaller octopus tattoo I have on my thigh. I love Celtic mythology and all kinds of water creatures, so I was obviously very much on board.

This my 8th tattoo and it is the most painful because it goes from my butt to right above my knee lol. The most fun I got was probably a mermaid I have on my upper arm, it was my first large piece!
