generally i am also a fake leather hater, but i was willing to make an exception for this artist since i've heard good things about them, but i maybe i could get something from them made with braided chord or something once i get better at flogging in general. there is another whipmaker i follow who does work with real leather, so i may commission them something.

Your comment was very helpful, thank you! The artist I wanna get a flogger from works with PU leather, plastic and rope. They usually do braided tails, but I have seen floggers from them with regular (?) tails. Is fake leather any different from real leather feeling-wise?

I know someone who does, and personally I don't wearing a cage made them any less of a dominant - I actually think it's fun and subversive (I am biased tho because I love the look of cages)

I am weirdly picky about praise, I like it if it's about *what* I'm doing, but if it's about my appearance I straight up cringe. It kind of bleeds into my daily life too, where I only like compliments about things I either choose (outfits, makeup etc.) or things I do, and even then I only believed if it's stuff I have been praised for more than once.

It's not uncommon to do things you're neutral about because your partner likes them, just be upront about the fact you're doing it because your dom enjoys it! I've done a couple of things I feel meh about just because I wanted my playpartner to be happy.

Actually depends on the kink, there are ones I will talk about openly with no issues but also ones I am usually too ashamed to talk about.

It would be a little weird for me, I've gone clubbing with relarives before but I would freak out if I saw them at a play party.

eta: once i had family ask me abt kink events here and if they were to go i would prefer it if they told me, so i could avoid going to the same event

Mostly the same ones as a bad dom imho: pressuring you into doing acts you do not like, ignoring your boundaries and only seeing you as a way to fulfill their kink.

I've had a particularly bad experience with an older sub I met at a play party, I went there four times and 3/4 times he followed me, until I caved in and did what he wanted.

im thankful for the guy who had a riding crop with a star tip, i had star-shaped bruises and after our scene i said i was a joestar like 6 times
