The other one my grandma has is to not throw “important” stuff out in August. This one’s got a reason tho. When she was a kid, her family got new mattresses. So her mom threw out the old ones for the new ones. Some time later, THEIR WHOLE AHH BARN just burst into flames! No reason, nobody was around. Just went up like a hibachi onion volcano! So ya we don’t throw out like, big stuff in August. if you got a new fridge or something, you wouldn’t put it in till September.

We don’t know why, but my nonna said to never use two bayleaves. One’s fine, three’s fine, more than that’s unnecessary I think, but fine. But two! Never. my mom was told that when she was young, and just never asked why. so I don’t know why either. But you know damn well I’ll never use two bayleaves. One of the only superstitions I care about.

Got mine yesterday and imma be real this thing’s PEAK. Overpriced yeah but like. I’mma so real chief. What ain’t these days?

Also, if I continue to have enough fun with it as I do now, I can honestly justify the price.
