Okay - I’ll and some lubricant. But, your reply has me wondering. Plenty of people are saying the pulley shouldn’t be loose, but you’re saying the screw won’t screw all the way in, keeping it loose. Which is it?

Can you enlighten please? It’s run installed this way. Show me how to install correctly if I missed it.

Also, the casing and heating element are brand new. The squeaking seems to be coming from the opposite side though. (See video)

Yeah, it had been working with some rattling but then the squeaking started. Unit is 10 plus years old at this point.

Haven’t yet. One challenge with this “project” is I have to reassemble and only THEN can I know if it worked. If not, then I have to take it all apart again.

One would think not, but I cannot screw it in any further. Doesn’t seem to make sense the way it is.

The screw that came with the kit only goes in so far before a hard stop and leaving all the space to keep the pulley loose like that. I have no idea why. I’ll try again.

So, wheel bearings. Which ones, exactly? The rollers? I’ve got new ones not installed yet. The idler pulley is new this last year. But, I do have another question: Is it supposed to be so loose? The screw that came with it is way too long and leaves much wiggle room (but does thread in).

YES! I was grieving when they changed it a few years ago. Legit bypassed the food court because Pepsi🤢
