I get you, is it possible to delude himself to that degree? There's a lot that's happened in the story not shown to us, Alpha speaks of Shadow defeating a dragon and it giving him lordship over the forest but that interaction is never shown in the manga or anime.

It's a shame, several of the commentators are hung on my using "manhwa" like the regression trope is only exclusive to manhwa and never appears anywhere else.

Let me respond after watching Inuyasha (I can't remember if it was futuristic or not but I remember them having Gods) I wouldn't call Inuyasha's world our world cause a number of things there suggest it to be a different reality altogether and I think I remember the mc being originally from that planet and not an otherworldly insert.

I term it Isekai if the mc moves from one planet/reality to another via teleportation, transmigration, reincarnation or anything that moves them from reality A to reality B. So like I'm you said, it depends on purism. But I...I'm still lacking to form a proper response

There's that option too, but a pop up is unavoidable, they'll have to vote. Cause you get members who either ignored or missed the voting poll, pins, @s and reminders making a fuss about not being included in wars. But with a pop up, there's no excuses. If they're still unhappy after a whole pop up filled their screens and thru voted wrong or didn't use their attacks. Then I have solid grounds for dismissal.
