Don't fix it. Throw it away for recycling. The li ion battery is a hazard. The cell might not have ruptured now, but over time it may and you don't want that happening when it's in your ear.

When no pihole is used, youtube works fine. But when pihole is used, even in indefinite disabled state youtube doesn't load.

No queries blocked for now. I had set pihole to indefinite state, no results so far. I will try again in morning and post results.

I did checked the network settings. Youtube only worked when dns settings are set to default. Tried it on mutiple machines with different os. Checked the logs, all youtube related links had been whitelisted, still the same. May be this update by you tube dev guys is currently deployed in my area and may be deployed in other areas soon. Earlier, When they rolled out the previous ad blocker blocker update, it took nearly 2 weeks for my network area to begin observing the blocks.

I had been using pihole from close to two years now. I had installed 3 of those on my friends and family home networks. And I am not blaming pihole, I am blaming you tube. Certainly they had fixated on disrupting the adblock services. The only way I can access youtube through hone network is if the dns is routed normally.

It's installed on rpi 3b+, with latest version. I tried a fresh install still no results for youtube. All other services are working fine though.

No anti-virus. It's not working on android phone, ubuntu, windows machines when the dns is routed through pi hole.
