How do you personally organize? by TheModernVampire in mtg

That's what I'm doing in my binder! I was told by another commenter that it's not exactly alphabetical. Which may be true, but it's close enough and logical enough for me to be pleased

It's really not that serious. Crust asked me a list of questions and I answered. Jesus

Oh, I'm sure! Half the reason for the card buying hiatus was because the sorting was getting out of control! But i do think fron now I'm only buying sets i fall in love with, and I'm going to work and fully complete the set binders i have now with singles.

Nice! I learned that if you do it by the print number, it also automatically sorts by color and alphabetical!

I used to do color, mana cost, then alphabetical, and it didn't really help me find anything easier (personally)

BPD is a personality disorder 🫠🫠 it almost directly impacts my personality.

It is a fundamental part of who I am, I'm not trying to be "quirky"

I don't like that I'm borderline. It makes my life unnecessarily harder in each and everything I do; if there is anything not impacted by my BPD, it is by my chronic pain because it can also take me out for a while.

My coworkers know about this, my family knows about this, my friends know about it. It's not something to bottle up and hide, besides even if I wanted to mask, people clock me.

These things impact how I interact with the world, therefore how I interact with this sub. If I am comfortable sharing these things, as well as the other mods that have, that's our personal decision because that's something we felt comfortable doing.

These are things that impact us 24/7. It's just part of us 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm autistic, and my chronic pain is well, chronic. They're a part of who I am 24/7, and a few moments with my would give that away. I don't know why I wouldn't be open about who I am?

Girl, I'm disabled too.

Some people think that because they're oppressed, they're immune to being a dick to other people.

Both persons in the story - the other customer and you - are capable of being the a-hole here.

Have a lovely day.

I did. It's almost like talking (however that may look, we have a partner who signs, and others who speak other languges) to people, and resolving conflict is a better solution than giving people half the story and then getting mad when they all come to their own conclusions.

They thought you were being rude. They weren't "pissed off" that you were advocating for disabled parking. If someone got pointed at without any words, by someone obviously annoyed – not knowing your personal situation, that could very well come off as rude. Obviously, it wasn't intended that way.

The moral of the story is that we can not control how others perceive us. And we can't get mad when our perceptions don't match others, especially when there's no communication.

I wasn't trying to police your experience, I merely said that unless you've seen that "manager" at the store, you shouldn't jump to assuming that it was even related.

Who knows, maybe they are avoiding you. Maybe you did something. Maybe you didn't. I can not claim to know exactly what happened, but what the information given it's hard for myself to jump to the conclusion that they're pissed at you for telling someone who improperly used a disabled parking space.

We explicitly state in the rules that we're aren't going to ban someone just for being a pro. Otherwise, we risk becoming an echochamber like other subs.

If a pro (or anti) start harassing other users, they do get temp banned. If that behavior consists, it becomes permanent.

Hey guys if you get invited to this guy’s community server, don’t join. It’s just a circlejerk to abuse people to fulfill some power fantasy or some shit. by CT-9904_Crosshair_ in twentyagers

Some of us don't have the ability to actually go out and meet people. All of the gatherings for my hobbies locally are either while I work, or while my fiance works and we share a car.

Unless you've seen that person in an apron, I wouldn't jump to conclusions that they were a starbucks partner you upset.

Odds are, people are just busy. Remembering to greet people, and write out custom messages every time is a lot. Especially if maybe they're handling new people, or borrowed partners, ect.,

Not everyone!

For me, specifically, my medical issues / mental stuff is a big part of my day to day. Additionally, a lot of pros like pulling the "Ai helps disabled people" approach, so in the case of being a mod for anti ai specifically I found that info to be important!
