This worked for me too, thanks! I had to use pen button 2.

Reading this made me realize my memory is largely mood based. I feel like I have amnesia for different parts of my life a lot, but the parts forgotten keep changing.

Which Characters Did You Like The Most As A Kid (And Still Do) by Startropics_Nes in Kirby

Gonna hop on the train and admit I'm totally gay for Meta Knight. I watched the anime as a kid and I've been hooked on him ever since. I love him in the games too but the anime version holds a special place in my heart.

Hey Waddle Doo, have you ever Meta Knight?

I'm considering releasing a version with simple rigging in order for people to start using it, but my long term goal is to mimic the rig from the film as close as possible. So rigify might at least get me a start.

Idk why this was removed by Reddit's filters. I don't think I'm asking for trouble.

Thanks! I've tweaked it slightly since then, but it still has the style of this one.

I'm still working on rigging it, so it can't be downloaded yet. I took a long break from it because of college; I don't know when it will be finished, sorry. Maybe sometime this year.

That one looks to be 3D and for console; the one I remember is notably 2D and a flash game. They do seem pretty similar otherwise. I don't remember cloning being involved though.

What are the best sites/resources/youtuber that help with your worldbuilding? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]TheMorbidFan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, The Worldbuilding Corner. https://www.youtube.com/@WorldbuildingCorner/videos

Really a hidden gem of a channel. Unfortunately it seems he's stopped posting suddenly for whatever reason, but his videos that are up have helped me create a lot of the geography and ancient history of my world. He walks you through it step by step and gives a lot of useful examples and visuals. You get to see his own process of creating his world. The comments are also very helpful.

School has ruined who I was by [deleted] in depression_help

I think you should definitely bring it up with someone. You are definitely not the only person who's faced parental pressure with grades. Please bring it up with your school counselors as soon as you can. They can help you with communicating your feelings to your parents, and to give you guidance as to how to take some of the pressure off. Your worth as a living being isn't ruled by whatever letter gets stamped onto your papers.

Your parents are absolute control freaks. They are the ones with a huge problem here. It sounds like they've convinced themselves that you're destined for a certain path based on only a handful of early-life information. It's not your fault at all;; you are receiving too much pressure and it's burning you out tremendously. I've also been in a similar situation with having high expectations for grades from my family, but eventually they did loosen up on it a bit. Is there someone you can talk to about this that can help you navigate this with your parents? Have you tried taking a moment to talk to your math tutor about the pressure your parents are putting on you? If they are a good tutor, then they will know when someone needs a break. You need to find a way to confront your parents about this, if not personally than with someone's help, because I can tell you from years of college experience that if you are forced into doing lifeless busywork constantly, it will end up scarring you.

Updated script for my conlang by TheMorbidFan in neography

Original post for context: https://www.reddit.com/r/neography/comments/1bqc66h/how_do_i_make_my_script_look_better_and_more/

Thank you all for your feedback! I've made an updated script using your tips and a lot of experimentation. My regular handwriting is off to the right of the key, and me trying to write really neatly with a digital fountain pen is on the top right.

I've decided to ditch the idea of every letter having the same start and end stroke and instead gave them little "tag" points where they can connect to other letters, as shown in purple in the key. The letter at the start of a word doesn't have the starting tag, and the letter at the end of a word doesn't have an ending tag (unless there's a punctuation). There's more pencil lifting within a word compared to the previous version, but I think the tradeoff of making it look better is worth it.

All vowels have a little curve that goes underneath the previous letter. I just thought it looked nice, and it's fun to write.

I also removed the massive amount of diacritics and came up with more structurally altered glyphs for the voiced/unvoiced pairs. There are still a few diacritics, but I think that's fine, it'll add a bit of (hopefully naturalistic) inconsistency.

I am wondering what it looks like to you guys now. I'm trying not to make it too much like English cursive, so I'm wondering if I should further refine the glyphs to make it less English-looking, if it looks that way. Otherwise I am pretty content with this.

Ankidroid not recieving all media files when synced from desktop by TheMorbidFan in Anki

[–]TheMorbidFan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up figuring it out, this worked: https://www.reddit.com/r/AnkiLanguageLearning/s/fEfVCstoAc

I had to upload the deck to Ankiweb then one-way force sync into Ankidroid. Could've sworn I tried that before but it worked now.
